Hello, just a little about myself and my blog. My name is Jessica and I have a desire to share The Word of God. I have prayed that God would give me a way to reach many people of all nations, tribes and tongues. He has given me a heart to start a blog and I thought what better way to reach the world? Than by the world web itself. I am specifically designing my blog to be a shade tree for women to come set and learn how marvelous our creator can be, if only we’d give Him a chance to come into our lives, homes, marriages, and children we could see him change us from the inside out. I hope you find comfort here as you learn how God can bring chaos back into order, possible to the impossible, love to the unlovable, healing to our  hurts, maybe even you’ll even find the purpose for your life as God speaks to you directly. This is my prayer anyway!

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 13 years and have been together for 17 years. He’s a pretty cool guy if I must say so myself:) He has been attending seminary for the last year and still has a long way to go. We look forward to what God has in store for us in the future as we abide in His will for our lives. Although it is not always easy and sometimes struggle with waiting, we know God’s plan far outweighs our own.

I am also a mom of two beautiful preteen daughters, who we have just recently brought home to homeschool. This is our first year of homeschooling and I fought, screamed, cried and wrestled with God over this calling…. I will share more later in my homeschool posts about this. So far as we begin our fourth week it has turned into being a huge blessing. My daughters are amazing little people and I think they teach me more than I teach them.

One more introduction, my handsome companion Hank he is a 7 year old Maltese who never leaves my side! He is my lovable fur baby.

Truthfully, Life is hard and everyone is struggling with something, our lives and our world can be messy at times and sometimes even hard to bare, so I hope you’ll find rest for your souls as I share God’s Word with you through this blog.
